Getting There

Walking

From New Bagan, start at the junction of Thiripyitsaya Road and Nyaung U Road. Head south on Thiripyitsaya Road. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the entrance to Old Bagan. Continue straight as the road becomes Bagan-Nyaung U Road, which will lead you towards the Old Bagan area. Once you enter Old Bagan, the Bagan Palace Ruins will be on your right after approximately 500 meters. You can follow the signs to ensure you are on the right path.

Once you reach Old Bagan, park your bike at the entrance of the Bagan Palace Ruins.
