Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Nyaung-U area, head east on the main road towards Old Bagan. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the junction with the road leading to the Shwezigon Pagoda. Turn left at the junction and follow the signs for Bulethi Pagoda. The pagoda is approximately 1 kilometer down this road on your right. Look for the distinctive architecture and the surrounding temples along the way.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Nyaung-U. Begin your journey by cycling east towards Old Bagan. After about 3 kilometers, you will reach a junction; turn left here towards Shwezigon Pagoda. Continue cycling for another kilometer, and Bulethi Pagoda will be on your right. Make sure to take your time and enjoy the scenery along the way.

    In Nyaung-U, you can hire a horse cart to take you to Bulethi Pagoda. Negotiate with the horse cart driver to take you east towards Old Bagan. They will know the route well.
