Getting There

  • Walking

    From the central area of Bagan, start at the Nyaung U Market. Head south on the main road, which is called 'Nyaung U Road'. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Old Bagan. Turn left onto this road and walk for approximately 500 meters. You will come across a sign pointing towards the Manuha Temple. Follow the sign, and after another 1 kilometer, you will arrive at the temple.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Nyaung U. Start by cycling south on Nyaung U Road for about 1.5 kilometers. At the intersection with the Old Bagan road, turn left. Continue cycling for about 500 meters until you see the sign for Manuha Temple. Follow the sign, and after about 1 kilometer, you will reach the temple entrance. The bicycle ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace.

  • Horse Cart

    Find a horse cart near the Nyaung U Market or any tourist area in Bagan. Negotiate a price with the driver to take you to Manuha Temple. The driver will take you along the scenic routes through Bagan. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes, and you will be dropped off right at the entrance of the temple.
