Walking
From the center of Bagan, start at Ananda Temple, a well-known landmark. Head south towards the main road (Shwe San Daw Pagoda Road). Continue walking on this road for about 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the iconic temple structures on your left. Once you reach the junction with the road leading to Myin Ka Bar, turn right. Walk for approximately 500 meters, and you will see Nan Hpaya Temple located on your left, marked by its distinct architectural features.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Old Bagan. Start at the Dhammayangyi Temple and head south towards the main road (Shwe San Daw Pagoda Road). Once you reach the junction, turn right and continue cycling for about 2 kilometers. You will pass several smaller temples along the way. After reaching Myin Ka Bar, keep an eye out for Nan Hpaya Temple on your left. It should be clearly visible from the road.
Horse Cart
Find a horse cart near the main tourist areas in Bagan, such as near the Shwe San Daw Pagoda. Negotiate with the driver to take you to Nan Hpaya Temple. The driver will take you through the scenic paths of Bagan, passing by various temples. The ride should take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off directly at the entrance of Nan Hpaya Temple.
