From central New Bagan, head south on the main road (New Bagan Road). Walk approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Old Bagan Road (you will see signs pointing towards Old Bagan). Turn left onto Old Bagan Road and continue walking for about 500 meters. You will notice the temples and pagodas along the way. Keep walking straight until you see the iconic Ananda Temple on your right; Old Bagan is just beyond this landmark.
