From the center of New Bagan, head south on the main road towards Old Bagan. Walk approximately 1.5 kilometers, which should take around 20-25 minutes. Continue straight until you reach the junction where the road intersects with the Old Bagan area. Turn left at the junction.

After turning left, proceed along the road for about 500 meters. You will see the ancient temple structures on your right. Keep walking straight and look for signs pointing towards Tharabar Gate (သရပါတံခါး). This gate is located near the city wall and is easily recognizable.
