From the center of Kalaw, head southeast on Main Street (also known as Pyae Sone Road) towards the Kalaw Market. Continue walking for about 500 meters until you reach the market area. Once at the market, ask locals for directions to Thein Taung, as they will be familiar with the route. Follow the path leading towards Thein Taung, which is approximately 3 kilometers away. Depending on your walking speed, this may take around 45 minutes to 1 hour. The path is mostly uphill, so be prepared for a bit of a hike. As you walk, enjoy the beautiful scenery and local flora. When you reach the base of Thein Taung, you will see signs pointing towards the View Point. Follow these signs to reach the summit where the View Point @Thein Taung is located.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Kalaw. Start at the Kalaw Market and head southeast on Main Street. After about 500 meters, turn left onto the road leading towards Thein Taung. The distance from the market to Thein Taung is approximately 3 kilometers, and the ride will take about 15-20 minutes depending on your cycling speed. The route is uphill, so be cautious and take breaks if needed. Once you reach the area of Thein Taung, look for signs to guide you to the View Point.
