If you are driving from Hpa-An, take the Hpa-An-Than Daung Gyi Road (also known as the Kayin State Highway) heading north. After approximately 30 km, you will reach Than Daung Gyi. From the center of Than Daung Gyi, follow the signs for Naw Bu Baw Prayer Mountain, which is located on an unnamed road just outside the town. The last few kilometers may require navigating smaller roads, so keep your GPS handy. The coordinates are approximately 19.0794869 latitude and 96.6871398 longitude.

Public Transportation
To reach Naw Bu Baw Prayer Mountain using public transport, start from Hpa-An. Take a local bus or shared taxi to Than Daung Gyi. The journey takes about 1-1.5 hours, costing around 2,000-3,000 MMK. Once you arrive in Than Daung Gyi, you can either hire a motorbike taxi or walk to the prayer mountain. The mountain is about 5 km from the main bus station, and it’s advisable to negotiate a fare with the motorbike taxi, which should cost around 1,000-2,000 MMK.

Motorbike Rental
For those who are more adventurous, renting a motorbike in Hpa-An is a great option. After renting, head north on the Hpa-An-Than Daung Gyi Road for about 30 km until you reach Than Daung Gyi. Follow the signs to Naw Bu Baw Prayer Mountain from there. Ensure you have a valid driving license and wear a helmet. Rental costs usually range from 10,000-15,000 MMK per day.
