If you are starting from the center of Pyay, head south on the main road (Pyi Road). Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Pagoda Road. Turn right onto Pagoda Road and walk for approximately 500 meters. You will see Shwemawdaw Pagoda on your right. The pagoda is a large, golden structure, and is hard to miss.
