The Ananda Temple is located near the town of Nyaungshwe, specifically in the village of Mingalar. Make sure to use a GPS or a reliable map for precise navigation, as the area can have limited signage. Parking is available near the temple, but be aware that it may incur a small fee.

To reach Ananda Temple using public transportation, start from Kalaw or Nyaungshwe. Take a local bus or shared taxi from Kalaw to Nyaungshwe. The bus journey takes about 1-1.5 hours and costs roughly 3,000 MMK (Myanmar Kyat). Once you arrive in Nyaungshwe, you can hire a trishaw (a three-wheeled cycle taxi) to take you to Ananda Temple for about 2,000-3,000 MMK. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to communicate clearly with the trishaw driver about your destination.
