If you are in Downtown Yangon, the easiest way to reach the Battle of Kohima Monument is to start from the Sule Pagoda, a central landmark. From Sule Pagoda, head west on Mahabandoola Road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Bogyoke Aung San Road. Turn left onto Bogyoke Aung San Road and continue walking for another 500 meters. You will see the Battle of Kohima Monument on your right, near the intersection with Kabar Aye Pagoda Road. The walk should take approximately 25-30 minutes.
