Getting There

• Public Transport

  If you are in downtown Yangon, head to the nearest bus stop and take a bus heading towards Hlaing Thar Yar or Bago. Make sure to ask the bus conductor to let you off at the nearest stop to 'သဲအင်းဂူ' (Thein Gyu). Once you get off, ask locals for directions to 'သဲအင်းဂူ ရတနာမာန်အောင်ကျောင်း', which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Keep an eye out for signs or local landmarks to guide you.

• Walking

  From the nearest bus stop, walk towards the main road and turn right. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit, which leads onto a smaller road. Follow this road until you see a large stupa in the distance; this indicates that you are nearing 'သဲအင်းဂူ ရတနာမာန်အောင်ကျောင်း'. The temple is located on the left side of the road.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in downtown Yangon. Once you have your bicycle, head towards the east along 26th Street until you reach the junction with Kaba Aye Pagoda Road. Turn left and continue straight. Follow the road signs towards 'သဲအင်းဂူ' for about 3 kilometers. The temple is situated on your right side, just off the main road.
