If you are in the Mayangone area, you can reach Chaukhtatgyi Buddha Temple by walking. Start from the Mayangone Market, head south on Kaba Aye Pagoda Road. Continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with R567+MFQ. Turn left onto R567+MFQ, and the temple will be on your right. The entire walk should take around 30 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes.

To reach Chaukhtatgyi Buddha Temple via public bus, find a bus stop along Kaba Aye Pagoda Road. Look for bus number 27 or 44, which will take you towards the temple area. The fare is typically around 200 MMK (Myanmar Kyat). Inform the bus conductor that you want to get off at the Chaukhtatgyi stop. Once you get off, walk about 5 minutes to the temple, which will be located on your right.
