From Windhoek, drive southwest on the B1 highway towards Rehoboth. Continue on the B1 until you reach Mariental, then take the C24 road towards Maltahohe. From Maltahohe, take the C19 road towards Sesriem. Once in Sesriem, continue on the D845 road until you reach the entrance gate of Sossusvlei. From there, Deadvlei is a short drive away within the Namib-Naukluft National Park.
