You will eventually reach the junction with the B1 road. Turn north onto the B1 and continue for about 30 kilometers (18 miles). Keep an eye on the road signs directing you to Namutoni. After a short drive, you will arrive at Fort Namutoni, located at the coordinates 5WRQ+MVW, Namutoni. Ensure you have sufficient fuel and supplies, as services can be sparse in this remote area.
Public Transportation (Minibus)
If you are opting for public transport, start by finding a local minibus that runs on the C38 route. You may need to ask locals for the nearest minibus stop, as these can vary. Board the minibus heading towards Tsumeb, which usually makes stops in various towns along the way. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the junction with the B1 road. After disembarking, you will need to walk approximately 30 kilometers (18 miles) north along the B1 road to reach Fort Namutoni. Note that walking in this area can be challenging due to the heat, so it's advisable to start early in the morning and carry plenty of water.
