Once you approach Walvis Bay, follow the signs to the Lagoon Promenade. Once on Lagoon Promenade Road, follow it until you reach Flamingo Lagoon, which is located at 2FGH+JCW. There is usually ample parking available near the lagoon.
Public Transportation
To reach Flamingo Lagoon via public transport, you can take a bus from key locations in Namaland that operate routes to Walvis Bay. The bus ride can take about an hour depending on traffic and stops. Once you arrive at the Walvis Bay bus terminal, you may need to take a taxi or local shuttle service to reach Lagoon Promenade. The taxi ride from the bus terminal to Flamingo Lagoon will likely cost around NAD 50-100 and take about 10 minutes.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, consider cycling to Flamingo Lagoon. From the center of Namaland, follow the B2 highway west towards Walvis Bay. It is about a 30-kilometer ride. Ensure you have a good map or GPS as the road can be busy with traffic. Once you arrive in Walvis Bay, navigate to Lagoon Promenade Road where you will find Flamingo Lagoon. Make sure to wear a helmet and stay hydrated during your ride.
Walking
Walking to Flamingo Lagoon is not practical due to the distance from most areas in Namaland. However, if you are staying nearby in Walvis Bay, you can walk to the lagoon from your accommodation. Simply head towards Lagoon Promenade and follow the road until you reach the lagoon. It's a lovely area to stroll but be mindful of the time it takes, as it can take up to an hour depending on your starting point.
