    The trip was fantastic. Our driver, Gerhard, was extremely skilful and knowledgeable about everything. Gerhard was very happy to answer all our questions. Driving through the dunes was unbelievable and we felt very safe in Gerhard's capable hands. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

    Wonderful tour to Sandwich Harbour. On the way there, we stopped at the flamingos, salt mining and even got a little game drive done. We especially appreciated the background information that was given to us from our tour guide Gerhard. Perfect. Ended the beautiful trip with a light lunch in the desert. We can only highly recommend this tour and this company.

    Spectacular day! Once in a lifetime experience. Our tour driver Victor was an excellent host. The half day tour includes pitstops for photo opportunities. Lunch and beverage are included in the fee. Very professional from beginning to end.

    It was a last minute tour, and we could do it even that the other participants cancelled. We were grateful, because we were leaving the next day, so if desertdunesdust-tours would have cancelled, we would have missed this impressing nature and wildlife experience. We watched flaminngos, seals, sand and dunes. We took a crazy drive over the dunes. Uwe is an excellent und safe driver, it was fun driving those steep slopes. Uwe speaks fluent German, so we could talk to him also in German. I like it very much, that he is always on time and very reliable. If you are travelling you need a guide who you can trust and Uwe is someone who truly cares for his guests. If you want a stressfree and fun excursion, go with him. You will like it.

On an afternoon tour we also pick up after your other activity , like Catamaran seal cruise or after Kayaking. We start in Swakopmund .and pick up in Walvisbay 30 minutes later than advertised. Please take note all cruise liner passengers. We stand in the port after the first gate with a Gazebo that has our logo on. Please note your guide will also stand with a name board. please note all Cruise Liner passengers, your tour pick up time starts an hour after you have docked.     Our journey takes us through Walvis Bay, lagune wetlands where thousands of pink Flamingos can be seen, past the enormous Salt Mine harvesting 100000 tons per month, south along the beach to Sandwich Harbor where the Dune belt meets the sea . See the waves carve away the dunes at high tide where it sometimes becomes impossible to enter this beautiful and remote area. We go on a roller coaster dune ride up to the view point with absolute surprise to see the stunning views and the quiet desert ambiance. The huge sea of sand , the dunes, have that special kind of magic ...absolutely unique. Our knowledgeable guides will tell you about the desert area and skillfully drive you to the best spots. Adrenaline soaked dune drives , searching for animals in this desolate area , learn how the plants and animals have evolved to live in the desert. Absolutely Awesome , all of it. A must do when in Namibia. the full day tour has 5s tops more than this half day tour
