Car
If you're driving from Swakopmund, take the B2 road south towards Walvis Bay. After approximately 30 km, you will reach the intersection with the C14 road. Turn left onto the C14, which leads directly to Dune 7. Continue on this road for about 15 km until you see the Dune 7 parking area on your left. The entrance to Dune 7 is well marked, and you can park your vehicle there for easy access to the dune.
Public Transportation
To reach Dune 7 via public transportation, take a shuttle bus or taxi from Swakopmund to Walvis Bay. Once in Walvis Bay, you can either take a local taxi directly to Dune 7 or opt for a guided tour that includes Dune 7 as a stop. The shuttle bus ride from Swakopmund to Walvis Bay typically costs around 50 NAD. Local taxis from Walvis Bay to Dune 7 may charge around 200 NAD.
Walking
If you are staying nearby, you can walk from the parking area to Dune 7. The dune itself is about a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water, as the desert sun can be intense.
