From Windhoek, take the B1 highway south towards Rehoboth. Continue on the B1 until you reach the turn-off for the C26 towards Solitaire. Follow the C26, which will lead you to the C14 road. After about 60 kilometers on the C14, you will arrive at the Sossusvlei entrance gate. Remember to pay the entrance fee (around N$ 80 per person) at the gate. From the entrance, it's about a 60-kilometer drive on a gravel road to Sossusvlei itself. Be sure to have a high-clearance vehicle for this part of the journey.
