Walking
From the center of Outjo, head east on the B1 road. Continue walking for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the C38 road. Turn right onto C38 and walk for another 5 kilometers, following the road signs towards Etosha National Park. After 5 kilometers, keep an eye out for a small dirt road on your left leading towards the Moringa Waterhole Viewpoint. Follow this dirt road for about 1 kilometer, which will take you directly to the viewpoint.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the main square in Outjo. Cycle east on the B1 road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the C38 road. Turn right onto C38 and continue cycling for about 5 kilometers. Look for the dirt road on your left that leads to Moringa Waterhole Viewpoint. This road is well-traveled, so it should be easy to navigate. Once you turn onto the dirt road, cycle for another 1 kilometer to reach the viewpoint.
Public Transport (if available)
Check with local guesthouses or the Outjo information center for any shuttle services that might run to the Etosha National Park. If such a service exists, inform them that you would like to stop at the Moringa Waterhole Viewpoint. Be sure to arrange your return trip in advance, as public transport options may be limited.
Hiking
For adventurous travelers, consider a hiking route from Outjo to Moringa Waterhole Viewpoint. Start from the center of Outjo and head east on the B1 road. After about 2 kilometers, turn right onto the C38 road. Continue for approximately 5 kilometers, then look for the dirt road on your left. This hike will take you about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace, and you will enjoy the scenic views along the way.
