From downtown Grand Island, start at the intersection of 2nd Street and Locust Street. Head west on 2nd Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 281. Turn left (south) onto Highway 281 and continue for approximately 2 miles. After reaching the intersection with Highway 30, turn right (west) onto Highway 30. Continue for about 3 miles until you see signs for the Crane Trust Nature & Visitor Center. After approximately 2 miles on Highway 30, turn left onto Alda Road. Follow Alda Road for about 2 miles until you reach 9325 Alda Rd S, where the Crane Trust Nature & Visitor Center is located.

For those biking from downtown Grand Island, start at the intersection of 2nd Street and Locust Street and head west. Biking along 2nd Street, you will reach Highway 281 in about 0.5 miles.
