Getting There

• Car

  From any point in High Plains, head north on US-83 N. Continue for about 30 miles until you reach North Platte. As you enter North Platte, take the exit toward I-80 E. Merge onto I-80 E and continue for approximately 2 miles. Take exit 177 for US-83 N toward North Platte. Continue on US-83 N for about 1 mile, then take a right onto N Homestead Rd. The Golden Spike Tower will be on your left at 1249 N Homestead Rd.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, check the local bus service for routes heading to North Platte. The closest bus station is in High Plains. Once you arrive in North Platte, you may need to use a rideshare service or taxi to get to the Golden Spike Tower, as public transport may not directly serve that location.
