    If you are starting from the Kearney Public Library located at 2020 1st Ave, head east on 1st Ave towards 20th St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with E 24th St, then turn left. Follow E 24th St which will curve into E 1st St S. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 miles. The Nebraska Firefighters Museum & Education Center will be on your left at 2834 E 1st St S.

    If you're starting from the Great Platte River Road Archway Monument located at 3060 E 1st St, you can easily bike to the museum. Head west on E 1st St towards the intersection with E 28th St. Continue straight for about 1.2 miles until you reach the museum at 2834 E 1st St S. The ride is mostly flat and takes about 7-10 minutes.
