From there, transfer to Route 22 towards 'South 27th' and get off at '27th & Holdrege'. Walk to the nearest bus stop for Route 21 towards 'South Lincoln' and get off at 'South 27th & Highway 2'. Finally, you'll need to walk about 0.5 miles northeast to reach the Lincoln Monument located at Lafayette Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503.

    If you choose to bike, start at the Nebraska State Capitol (1445 K St, Lincoln, NE 68508). Head south on 14th St until you reach 'Q St'. Turn left on 'Q St' and continue biking east.
