From Nebraska National Forest, get on Highway 92 and head west. Continue on Highway 92 until you reach the junction with Highway 71. Take a left onto Highway 71 South. Drive on Highway 71 for approximately 15 miles until you reach Gering. Once in Gering, follow the signs to Scotts Bluff National Monument, which will direct you to the Old Oregon Trail Road. The entrance to the monument is located at 190276 Old Oregon Trail, Gering, NE 69341. There is a small entrance fee of $5 per vehicle.
