Walking
From the center of Norfolk, head south on 1st Street towards Norfolk Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Norfolk Avenue. Turn left onto Norfolk Avenue and walk east until you reach 13th Street. Turn right onto 13th Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Benjamin Avenue. At this point, you can catch the local bus number 1, which will take you towards the east side of town. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next departure.

Public Transit
Once you board the bus number 1, stay on it until you reach the stop at 25th Street and Omaha Avenue. From there, transfer to the bus number 2 heading towards the east. Ride this bus for about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop near the intersection of East Norfolk Avenue and Highway 35. From here, continue walking east on East Norfolk Avenue until you reach the intersection with 25th Street. At this point, you can ask locals for directions to the nearest bus station that can take you towards Yorktown National Cemetery.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Norfolk. Start your bike ride heading east on Norfolk Avenue, then continue onto East Norfolk Avenue. Follow the bike lane until you reach the intersection with Highway 35. Continue biking on the designated bike path that will lead you towards Yorktown National Cemetery, which is located at Virginia 23690. Be cautious of traffic as you ride along Highway 35.
