Getting There

• Public Transit

  If you are starting from downtown Omaha, take the Metro Transit bus route 2 (North 24th Street) from the Omaha Bus Station. Ride the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the stop at North 24th Street & Lake Street. From there, transfer to bus route 13 (North 30th Street) and ride for about 10 minutes until you reach the stop at North 30th Street & Cuming Street. Next, you'll need to walk approximately 15 minutes northeast along Cuming Street until you reach Freedom Park at 2497 Freedom Park Rd.

• Biking

  For those who prefer to bike, if you are in downtown Omaha, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services. Start by heading northeast on Farnam Street towards North 30th Street. Continue biking north on North 30th Street for about 2 miles until you reach Cuming Street. Turn left onto Cuming Street and ride for approximately half a mile. Then, turn right on Freedom Park Road, and you will see the entrance to Freedom Park on your left.

• Walking

  If you are nearby, and prefer to walk, from the Omaha Community Playhouse, head north on North 72nd Street. After about 10 minutes, turn left onto Cuming Street and continue walking for about 1 mile. When you reach North 30th Street, turn right and walk for another 0.5 miles. Finally, turn left onto Freedom Park Road, and you will soon arrive at Freedom Park, located at 2497 Freedom Park Rd.
