Public Transit - Bus
From downtown Omaha, head to the Omaha Central Bus Station at 16th and Jackson. Board Metro bus route 2 (East) towards 42nd & Leavenworth. Ride for about 15-20 minutes, then transfer at 42nd & Leavenworth to route 55 (West). Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach Q Street & 144th Avenue. From the bus stop, walk about 5 minutes northwest on Q Street to reach the Millard Water Tower located at the corner of 144th & Q.

If you're in the Midtown area, you can bike to the Millard Water Tower. Start on the Keystone Trail, heading southwest. Follow the trail until you reach the intersection of 144th and Q Street. The Millard Water Tower will be visible from the trail. It’s about a 30-minute bike ride from Midtown, depending on your speed.

If you're nearby, you can walk to the Millard Water Tower. Start at the nearest landmark, such as the Millard Library on 132nd & Q. Walk west on Q Street for about 1.5 miles (approximately 30-40 minutes). The Millard Water Tower is located at the intersection of 144th & Q, where you can enjoy the view and take photos.
