Getting There

• Public Transit

  Start by heading to the nearest bus stop. If you are in downtown Omaha, find the Omaha Metro Transit stop at 16th & Douglas. Board the Metro bus route 2 (North 24th Street). Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 30th & Ames, which is approximately a 20-minute ride. From there, transfer to bus route 8 (North 72nd Street). Get off at the stop near the intersection of North 72nd Street and Fort Street. Walk approximately 10 minutes east on Fort Street, then turn right onto North 30th Street, and finally, turn left onto OPPD Arboretum's entrance.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of the OPPD Arboretum, you can walk there directly. The Arboretum is located at 41.2786497 latitude and -96.0783359 longitude. • Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike-share programs available throughout Omaha. Start your journey from downtown and head north. Follow the bike path along North 16th Street until you reach Fort Street. Turn left on Fort Street, then right onto North 30th Street, where you will find the entrance to OPPD Arboretum. This route is approximately 4 miles and should take about 20-30 minutes depending on your cycling speed.
