Getting There

  • Walking

    From the heart of Downtown Omaha, head east on Farnam Street. Continue walking until you reach 10th Street. Make a right onto 10th Street and go south until you reach the intersection with Cuming Street. Turn left onto Cuming Street and continue east until you reach the intersection with 24th Street. Turn right onto 24th Street and walk north. After a few blocks, you'll see Freedom Park Road on your left. Turn onto Freedom Park Road and walk straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance of Freedom Park, located at 2497 Freedom Park Rd. This walk will take approximately 30 minutes.

    If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Omaha Community Playhouse located at 6915 Cass St. Ride east on Cass Street, then turn south onto 30th Street. Continue until you reach Cuming Street and turn left. Follow Cuming Street east and then turn right onto 24th Street. Finally, turn left onto Freedom Park Road. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes if you maintain a moderate pace. Remember to wear a helmet and follow traffic rules.
