From Pine Ridge, head north on US Highway 87. Continue on this highway for approximately 30 miles until you reach the town of Chadron. Once in Chadron, look for the signs directing you to Chadron State Park. Turn onto Gold Rush Byway (also marked as Nebraska Highway 20) and follow it for about 2 miles until you see the entrance to Chadron State Park on your right. Note that parking at the park may incur a small fee, typically around $5 per vehicle.
