Getting There

• Car

  From any location in the Rainwater Basin area, head west on US-34 W towards the town of Harrison, NE. Continue on US-34 W for about 80 miles until you reach Harrison. As you enter Harrison, look for the signs directing you to Toadstool Geological Park. Turn left onto NE-90 E, and continue for approximately 6 miles. The entrance to Toadstool Geological Park will be on your left. Note that there is no entrance fee for the park, but consider bringing cash for any additional activities or nearby attractions.

• Public Transportation

  Public transportation options are limited in this rural area, but you can check with local bus services or shuttle companies that might operate from larger cities such as North Platte or Scottsbluff. If you can arrange a ride to Harrison, take NE-90 E from Harrison for about 6 miles to reach Toadstool Geological Park.
