From anywhere in Sandhills, head towards the nearest major road leading to Kearney, NE. If you're near US-83, take it south until you reach I-80. Merge onto I-80 East and continue for about 25 miles. Take exit 272 for NE-44 towards Kearney. Follow NE-44 until you reach Kearney. Once in Kearney, take a right onto V Rd. Continue on V Rd for approximately 1 mile, and Fort Kearny State Historical Park will be on your left at 1020 V Rd, Kearney, NE 68847.
