Getting There

  • Walking

    From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head east towards the main street (Khwopa). Continue straight along this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the road that leads towards Sankhu. Turn left at this intersection and follow the road for approximately 2 kilometers. You will pass through the local neighborhoods, and you may see signs for Sankhu. Continue until you reach the outskirts of Sankhu, where you will see a sign for Dugahiti. Follow the signs to the exact location at PFH7+RG3, Shankharapur 44600.

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Changunarayan Temple, head southwest on the trail that leads towards Bhaktapur. Once you reach Bhaktapur, follow the same directions as mentioned above from Bhaktapur Durbar Square. This will involve walking along Khwopa street, turning left at the intersection towards Sankhu, and following the road for about 2 kilometers.

    From Bhaktapur, you can catch a local bus heading towards Sankhu. Look for a bus stop near Bhaktapur Durbar Square and ask for the bus that goes to Sankhu.
