If you're traveling by car, head towards Changunarayan. From Kathmandu, take the Araniko Highway (Highway 1) towards Bhaktapur. After about 10 km, you will reach Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Continue on the road from Bhaktapur, following signs for Changunarayan. The last part of the journey will take you to Mandir Walkway, where the Changu Museum is located. Look for parking spaces near the museum entrance. Note that there might be a small parking fee.

To reach Changu Museum using public transportation, take a local bus from Kathmandu to Bhaktapur. Buses leave frequently from various locations in Kathmandu, and the fare is usually around NPR 50-100. Once you arrive in Bhaktapur, transfer to a local bus or a microbus heading to Changunarayan. The fare for this leg will be approximately NPR 30. Inform the driver you want to get off at Changunarayan. After disembarking, follow the signs to Mandir Walkway where Changu Museum is located, which is about a 10-15 minute walk.
