If you are traveling by car from any location in the Helambu Trek area, first make your way to the nearest city, Dhulikhel. From Dhulikhel, head towards Bhaktapur on the Araniko Highway (Highway 1). After approximately 20 km, take the exit towards Changunarayan. Follow the signs for Changunarayan Temple. The temple is located at PC8H+H38, Changunarayan 44600. There is parking available near the temple, but be aware that there may be a small parking fee (approximately NPR 50-100).

To reach Changu Narayan Temple using public transportation from Helambu Trek, you will need to take a bus or microbus from the nearest bus station. Head towards Kathmandu and get off at Bhaktapur. From Bhaktapur, look for local buses or shared taxis heading to Changunarayan. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes and cost around NPR 30-50. Once you arrive at Changunarayan, it is a short walk to the temple, which is located at PC8H+H38, Changunarayan 44600.
