Walking
From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head west towards the main road, known as Nagadesh Road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Bhaktapur-Kathmandu Road. Turn left onto Bhaktapur-Kathmandu Road. Walk for another 2 kilometers, and you will arrive at the Chhauni area where the Military Museum is located. The museum will be on your right-hand side.

If you are at the Bhaktapur Bus Park, exit the park and head towards the east along the main road. Continue walking for about 1.8 kilometers until you reach the junction with Bhaktapur-Kathmandu Road. Turn right onto Bhaktapur-Kathmandu Road and walk approximately 2 kilometers. You will see the Military Museum on your right as you approach the Chhauni area.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Start by cycling west on Nagadesh Road for about 1.5 kilometers, then turn left onto Bhaktapur-Kathmandu Road. Continue cycling for another 2 kilometers until you reach the Chhauni area. The Military Museum will be to your right.
