Walking
From the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head east towards the main road (Bhadgaon-Dhulikhel Road). As you exit the square, you will find the road on your left. Walk straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with the main highway. You will see signs for Godawari. Turn left onto the highway and continue walking for about 2 km. Look for a road sign indicating Godawari and Phulchowki. Follow that road until you see the entrance to the Phulchowki hiking area.
Local Bus
From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, walk to the nearest bus station located near the square. Look for a bus heading towards Godawari. The fare is usually around 30 NPR. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride; it's about a 30-minute journey. Request the driver to drop you off at Godawari, near the entrance to the Phulchowki trail. From the bus stop, walk towards the trail entrance which is clearly marked.
Rickshaw
Find a rickshaw near Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Negotiate a fare with the driver to take you to Godawari, specifically to the Phulchowki trail entrance. The ride should take approximately 20-25 minutes. Ensure to mention 'Phulchowki Mai' to the driver to avoid confusion. Once you arrive at Godawari, you'll see signs leading to the hiking trail.
