Getting There

  • Walking

    From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head east towards the main road. Once you reach the main road (Pratap Marga), turn left and continue walking until you reach the bus park. From there, take a local bus heading to Kathmandu. The fare is usually around 40 NPR. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Ratna Park bus station in Kathmandu. From Ratna Park, walk towards the Thamel area. Continue straight until you reach Paknajol Marg, which is located on the north side of Thamel. Once on Paknajol Marg, look for Sunrise Adventure Trek & Expedition P. Ltd, which will be on your right side.

  • Cycling

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a shop near Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Head towards the main road (Pratap Marga) and turn left. Cycle straight towards the bus park and take the same route as mentioned above to reach Kathmandu. Once you arrive at Ratna Park, cycle towards Thamel, then continue to Paknajol Marg. Sunrise Adventure Trek & Expedition P. Ltd is on your right side along Paknajol Marg.

  • Local Bus

    From Bhaktapur, you can also take a local bus directly to Kathmandu. Go to the bus park in Bhaktapur and find a bus labeled 'KTM' or 'Kathmandu'. The buses usually leave frequently, and the ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ratna Park, follow the walking directions to Thamel and Paknajol Marg as previously described.
