Getting There

• Walking

  If you are already in Thamel, the easiest way to reach Kathmandu Thamel is to walk. Start at the main street of Thamel, called 'Thamel Marg'. Head northeast on Thamel Marg towards the 'Chhetrapati' area. Continue walking straight for about 10-15 minutes. You will pass by various shops, restaurants, and hotels. Look for 'Sattal', a well-known landmark, and continue walking past it. Your destination, located at 'सात घुम्ती मार्ग 3', will be on your right. Look for signs indicating Kathmandu Thamel.

• Bicycle

  You can also rent a bicycle from any of the local rental shops in Thamel. Once you have a bicycle, head towards Thamel Marg and cycle northeast. Follow the same route as described for walking, taking the same landmarks into account. This should take you around 5-10 minutes, depending on your cycling speed. Make sure to wear a helmet and be cautious of pedestrians.

• Rickshaw

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a rickshaw. Simply find a rickshaw stand in Thamel and tell the driver you want to go to 'सात घुम्ती मार्ग 3'. The fare is usually around 100-200 NPR, depending on your bargaining skills. The ride should take approximately 5-10 minutes.

• Local Bus

  For those who want to experience local transport, you can take a local bus. Head to the nearest bus stop on Thamel Marg and look for buses heading towards 'Chhetrapati'. The fare is usually around 20-30 NPR. Get off at the 'Chhetrapati' stop and walk about 5-10 minutes towards 'सात घुम्ती मार्ग 3'.
