Getting There

• Trekking from Everest Base Camp

  To reach the Periche viewpoint from Everest Base Camp, start by heading south along the trail that leads you past the Khumbu Glacier. The trek will take approximately 3 hours and is about 8 km long. As you walk, take in the stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Make sure to follow the signs directing you towards Dingboche. Once you reach Dingboche, take a short break to hydrate and acclimatize before continuing your trek to the Periche viewpoint, which is an additional 1-2 hours from Dingboche. The viewpoint is located at an elevation of about 4,400 meters, offering breathtaking views of the valley and the surrounding mountains.
