Getting There

    From Everest Base Camp, you will first need to travel back to Lukla. To do this, retrace your steps along the trail and head towards Gorak Shep, then to Lobuche, and finally to Pheriche. Once you reach Pheriche, continue to descend to Tengboche and then to Namche Bazaar before reaching Lukla. From Lukla, you can hire a taxi or take a local bus to Kathmandu. This journey may take about 2-3 days of trekking, depending on your pace. Once in Kathmandu, you can catch a bus to Syabrubesi, which is the gateway to Langtang National Park. The bus ride from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi will take approximately 7-8 hours and costs around NPR 800-1500. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance.

    Once you arrive in Syabrubesi from Kathmandu, you will need to take a local jeep or bus to Dhunche, which is about 30 minutes away. The cost for this short trip is around NPR 200-400. From Dhunche, you can start your trek into Langtang National Park. The entrance fee for the park is NPR 3000 for foreigners. The trek from Dhunche to Langtang village will take about 6-7 hours.
