Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Pokhara. Head east on Lakeside Road, then follow the signs for the Pokhara Stupa. The route will take you through a mix of urban and scenic landscapes. After about 15-20 minutes, you should reach the entrance of the stupa area. There may be limited parking available nearby, so plan to arrive early.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Pokhara Stupa via public transportation, you can take a local bus or microbus from the main bus station in Pokhara (Prithvi Chowk). Look for buses heading towards the Sarangkot area as they will take you close to the stupa. The fare is typically around NPR 30-50. Ask the conductor to inform you when you reach the closest stop to the stupa. From there, it's a short walk (approximately 10-15 minutes) uphill to the stupa.
