Trekking
To reach the Periche viewpoint from Gokyo Lakes, you will start your trek from Gokyo village. Follow the trail heading southeast towards the Thangnak area. The trek will take approximately 3-4 hours depending on your pace. As you trek, enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and lakes. Once you reach Thangnak, continue your ascent towards the ridge that will lead you to the Periche viewpoint. The final ascent will take about 30 minutes. Total trekking distance is about 8 kilometers.

From Gokyo Lakes, you can also trek towards Dingboche. To do this, head back to the main trail towards Namche Bazaar. After about an hour, you will reach the junction towards Dingboche. Follow the signs and the trail leading down towards Dingboche. This part of the trek will take around 5-6 hours. Once in Dingboche, you can explore the village and enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding peaks.
