Getting There

Walking
From Gokyo Lakes, start at the main trail that leads down towards Dole. Follow the trail for about 1.5 to 2 hours until you reach the junction near the Gokyo Valley. Look for signs leading towards Namche Bazaar. The trail will take you through beautiful landscapes, so take your time and enjoy the views. Once you reach the junction, continue towards Namche Bazaar for another 2 to 3 hours.

Upon reaching Namche Bazaar, you will need to navigate to the Hungo Ice climbing spot. From the center of Namche, take the path leading towards the outskirts of the village, following the signs toward the Unnamed Road. The path will ascend slightly, and you should look for landmarks such as the Sagarmatha National Park entrance. Continue walking for about 30 minutes, and you will arrive at the Hungo Ice climbing spot, located at RM84+C6M.
