Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car from Pokhara, take the Siddhartha Highway (also known as the Prithvi Highway) heading west. After approximately 25 km, turn onto the road leading to Machhapuchhre. Follow the signs to the Machhapuchhre base camp, which is about 25 km from the main road. The journey will take around 1 to 1.5 hours depending on road conditions.     From Pokhara, head to the bus station (Prithvi Chowk) and catch a local bus heading towards Nayapul. Buses leave frequently, and the fare is approximately NPR 100-200.
