Getting There

Car
From Kanchenjunga Base Camp, head south on the main path toward the town of Taplejung. The distance is approximately 20 km and will take around 45 minutes by car. Once you reach Taplejung, continue driving towards the town of Phidim. Follow the signs to Khangchendzonga National Park. The drive from Taplejung to Phidim is about 30 km and will take another 1 hour. You can expect to pay a small fee for fuel, and be mindful of the road conditions as they can vary.

Public Transportation
From Kanchenjunga Base Camp, you can take a local bus or jeep to Taplejung. The bus will take about 1 hour and cost around NPR 100-150. From Taplejung, you will need to transfer to another local bus heading to Phidim, which will take approximately 1 hour and cost another NPR 150. Once you reach Phidim, you can hire a taxi to take you to Khangchendzonga National Park, which is about a 30-minute drive. The taxi fare will roughly be NPR 500-700.
