Car
If you are driving, start from Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Take the NH10 towards Singtam. After approximately 20 km, turn onto the road towards Namprik. Continue for another 25 km, and you will reach the vicinity of the Hanging Bridge on Kanakha Khola. Look for the signs leading to the bridge, as it is a popular spot. Parking is available nearby.
Shared Taxi
From Gangtok, you can take a shared taxi to Namprik. Head to the shared taxi stand near the MG Marg. Taxis are available regularly and will take you to Namprik in about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. The fare is typically around INR 300-400 per person. Once in Namprik, ask locals for directions to the Hanging Bridge, which is a short walk away.
Bus
You can also opt for a local bus from Gangtok to Namprik. Buses leave from the Sikkim National Transport (SNT) bus station. The journey takes about 2.5 hours and costs approximately INR 150-200. Once you arrive in Namprik, you can either walk or take a short auto-rickshaw ride to the Hanging Bridge, which is about 2 km away.
Auto-rickshaw
If you are already in Namprik, you can hire an auto-rickshaw to take you to the Hanging Bridge. The ride will take about 10 minutes and should cost around INR 50-100, depending on your negotiation skills.
