From Thamel (a popular tourist area), head to the Ratna Park Bus Station. Look for a bus heading towards Bhaktapur. The fare is around NPR 30. Once on the bus, ask the conductor to drop you off at Changunarayan. The journey takes approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. From the bus stop in Changunarayan, it's a short 10-minute walk to Changu Museum. Follow the signs towards Mandir Walkway.

Cycle Rickshaw
If you prefer a more comfortable ride, you can hire a cycle rickshaw from Thamel or any nearby area. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around NPR 300-500 to Changunarayan depending on your starting point. The rickshaw will take you directly to the entrance of the village. From there, it's a brief 5-minute walk to the museum, following the road signs towards Mandir Walkway.
