Getting There

Walking
From Thamel, head east on Z street towards the intersection with the New Road. Turn left onto New Road and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass the busy streets filled with shops and vendors. Keep walking until you reach a small roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Sorakhutte Road. Continue straight on Sorakhutte Road for about 5 minutes until you see Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure on your right.

Public Bus
From your location in Thamel, walk to the nearest bus stop on the main road. Take a bus heading to Naya Bazaar. The fare is inexpensive, around 20 Nepali Rupees. Once you reach Naya Bazaar, get off the bus and walk towards Sorakhutte Road, which is a short 10-minute walk. Follow Sorakhutte Road until you spot Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure on your left.

Cycle Rickshaw
If you prefer a rickshaw, you can easily find one in Thamel. Tell the driver to take you to Sorakhutte. The ride should take about 15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will be dropped off near the entrance of Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure.

If you want a more comfortable option, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Kathmandu. Ask the driver to take you to Sorakhutte, specifically to Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure. Make sure to agree on the fare before you start your journey. The drive should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
